Why write about good customer service? Why not? Good customer service is sublime. Bad customer service is H-E-Double-L. Good customer service deserves to be applauded and celebrated! Bad customer service deserves to be analyzed, in the hopes of improvement. I shall name and applaud the good, and analyze the bad. The internet is a powerful tool. Trust that if I have had a problem, I have approached the bad customer service provider and given them the opportunity to correct the situation.

bad customer service of OCBC bank in Singapore. Was told by the staff that for Titanium Credit Card that if your spending is less than SGD$5K per year, no auto waiver off the annual charges. And if they billed the annual charges in Jun 09, and if you ask for waiver in Oct 09, they would not waive any annual fee at all and or unless you have spend $5K per year, only then they will consider waiving off the charges.
Thanks for the heads up, Vonn. It seems that the service for credit card companies is really taking a beating. You’d think that companies like this would learn that if they provide good customer service they’ll attract customers, and make money. Instead they squeeze the life out of the customers they’ve already captured. What a losing proposition for everyone involved!
Readers, do you have any good credit card companies to discuss?
Thanks,
