Last Saturday night I left my car headlights on all night. My car barely started in the morning. I drove it around, hoping it woud charge. Each time I stopped the car that day and restarted the car, it sounded like trouble. I thought I should have it checked, and couldn’t think of any shops open on Sunday. My dealer sure wasn’t! Then I remembered Sears in the mall. I had actually bought my battery there, so I headed that way. Yup, at 4:30 pm on a Sunday, I just pulled right up, and they checked it. It was low on a charge, so they suggesed I walk around the mall for about 45 minutes, and they’d call me and let me know if it charged up ok. I enjoyed my stroll, and the Sears car repair department called me about 1/2 hour later, and told me that the battery was bad, after all. And the Sears man said they had looked up the warranty for the old battery, and found it was still within its’ warranty period. He said they had replaced it, and my car was ready to go. What good customer service at Sears! I think part of good customer service is being available when your customer needs you, like late on a Sunday afternoon. I also found Sears well staffed with people that knew what they were doing. I will give Sears my business in the future!
